2017 10th Anniversary Collaboration Beers!

This year we helped put together 13 collaborations in honor of our 10 Year Anniversary. 10 of those have been packaged in bottles and cans! We’re really excited about them and they’re available for sale individually or as a collection here and at BrewedOregon.

Below is a description of each beer by our own Ryan Spencer who fearlessly led the endeavor.

GiganticBailey’s Gin Fizz: Nitrogenated cream ale aged in gin barrels w/ lactose, orange peel, lemon peel, and some citrusy hop varietals. Modeled after Ramos gin fizz cocktail. ABV: 5.2%

Laurelwood – Cookie Monster: English strong ale aged in bourbon barrels w/ oats, cacao nibs, sea salt, vanilla. Modeled after bacon chocolate chip cookie from Oso Market. ABV: 9%

Breakside – Entropy: – Fennel saison aged in gin barrels blended with gin barrel aged India Golden Ale and two casks of barrel fermented brett beer.

Flat Tail – Bupkis: – Blend of bourbon barrel aged blonde ale and bourbon barrel aged milk stout. Ultimately a bourbon barrel aged brown ale/brown porter. ABV: 10%

Alesong – Bailey’s Joy: Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and conditioned on cacao nibs and coconut. Modeled after Almond Joy. ABV: 10.4%

Ex Novo – BA Piñata: Tequila barrel aged version of our 9th anniversary Ex Novo beer Piñata. Ryan pitched Wyeast Roselare Blend which includes two brett strains, two Belgian ale strains, lactobacillus, and a sherry yeast.

Yachats – Bailey’s Anniversary Ale: Belgian Table Beer aged in chardonnay barrels w/ brett brux. ABV: 4.2%

Logsdon – Diamond Princess: Spontaneously fermented wheat beer aged in neutral oak barrels with Diamond Princess peaches. ABV: 6.55%

pFriem – Bailey’s Taproom 10th Anniversary Ale: Belgian pale ale conditioned on what we initially thought was a brettanomyces strain but after plating it found out it was a funky saccharomyces strain. This beer was conditioned in neutral oak barrels then blended together and dry hopped with El Dorado and Hallertauer Blanc. ABV: 5.5%

Upright – Going Gris: Brewed in collaboration with natural winemaker Minimus. Farmhouse ale aged on sauvignon rose grapes in an Acacia wood barrel. Grapes went through carbonic maceration in barrel, beer was racked on top of grapes.

Culmination – Time & Space – Originally an Orval clone for our 9th anniversary, then bbl aged, soured, and blended with gin bbl aged gose. ABV: 6.5%

Non Barrel Aged Beers

Block 15 – Hopnotize (Hausbier IV):  Summer IPA utilizing Apollo, Mosaic, Motueka, Amarillo, and Waimea. This is the fourth official House Beer in the series.

Heater Allen – Lil Paws: Low ABV (4%) Summer Lager hopped with Mandarina Bavaria.
