You’d have to be 6 oz short of a pint to pass up this beer. Rumor has it that it’s a blend of Racer 5 and Red Rocket with a Belgian yeast strain thrown in for good measure. I had a glass of it a couple nights ago and with every sip, it kept surprising me. It’s a chameleon beer, transforming flavors the longer it’s on your tongue, going from sweet to sour to bitter to spiced, with a lot of big malty caramel notes and of course enough hops to drown a man. It’s sort of part barley wine, part IPA, and part Belgian beer all rolled into one. Give it a shot (or two) and tell us what you think.
